Paderborn (dpa / lnw) – Second division football club SC Paderborn denies its summer training camp in the USA. On June 9, three days after the start of training, the East Westphalians set off on a nearly two-week trip to the US states of Minnesota, Wisconsin and Illinois. During this time, tryouts against Minnesota United (June 11) and Forward Madison (June 15) are planned. Lukas Kwasniok’s team from Chicago will return to Germany on June 19th.
“We will use the training camp in the USA to lay the foundations for a successful 2022/2023 season. The trip is also a wonderful opportunity to present German football in the USA and to strengthen the sense of togetherness in the team.” Managing Director Sport Fabian Wohlgemuth quoted in a club announcement on Friday.
