Arnsberg (dpa / lnw) – A 56-year-old man drove into a parked car in the city of Arnsberg (Hochsauerland district) and was seriously injured. He was taken to the hospital from the scene of the accident in the Rumbeck district on Wednesday night, the police said. No one was injured apart from the driver himself. The extent of the damage was unknown in the morning. Both cars were towed away because police said they were no longer drivable. Why the man drove into the car was initially unclear on Wednesday. A breath alcohol test showed that the 56-year-old was drunk. Blood was then drawn from him – the results of the examination were still pending in the morning.
