Stralsund (dpa / mv) – Police officers had to act as “horse whisperers” in Stralsund at the weekend – which also worked. As a police spokesman announced on Monday, a herd of twelve animals broke out of a paddock in the east of the city early on Sunday morning. Witnesses called the police, who arrived with four patrol cars and nine officers.
Finally, according to the information, the police officers were able to find the horses in a field and also encourage them to trot back to their pasture with them. To do this, several streets had to be crossed. The owner of the horses was identified and instructed to repair the pasture fence so that the horses would not escape again.
