(AI) denounced on Tuesday that the Taliban murdered 13 members of the Chii Minority Hazara in the province of Daikundi, in the center of Afghanistan, and added that for the most part it was members of the Security Forces of the Afghan Government
.
“The Taliban murdered extrajudicially to Thirteen Hazaras, including a 17-year-old girl, in the Afghan province of Daikundi, after the members of the security forces of the previous government had surrendered,” Denounced the NGO in a statement.
The event took place on August 30 in the town of Kahor, located in the district of Khid, said Ai after reviewing photographs and videos of what happened and contacting witnesses.
The Taliban captured the province on August 14, to penalties one day before taking control of Afghan capital.
According to the investigation of the International Organization, some 34 members of Afghanistan Defense and Safety Forces (andSF) belonging to the Chii minority took refuge in the Khidish district and negotiated their surrender to Taliban fighters on August 29.
The arrival of about three hundred fundamentalists as the next day caused an attempt to escape from the members of the security forces and their families.
“When Taliban fighters reached them, they opened fire against the crowd and killed a 17-year-old girl named Masuma. A member of the AndSF returned the fire, killing a Taliban and injuring another,” said Ai.
Two other Afghan military died in the shooting, according to the organization, while nine other members of the security forces surrendered and were then executed by the Taliban.
“These foreclosures to cold-blood are a new proof that the Taliban are committing the same violations through which they became known during their previous regime in Afghanistan,” said Agnés Callald, General Secretary of AI.
Callamard called the fundamentalists to “immediately stop these cruel acts of revenge” and ensure that the employees of the previous government and their families can live in security in Afghanistan.
In recent years, the Chii Minority Hazara has been a frequent objective of attacks claimed by the Islamic State Yihadist (EI), who consider them apostate, although the overthrown Afghan government also usually blamed the Taliban of the aggressions.
Members of this minority recently reported EFE that hundreds of families have been forced by the Taliban to leave their homes in the center of Afghanistan, for a dispute over land ownership with pastunas leaders, the ethnic group of Islamists.
