The Supreme court in the United States, has received protection from deportation for individuals to maintain, which arrived as children without documents into the country. The judge confirmed the case-law of the previous instances, against which the White house had complained. It is a defeat for the immigration policies of President Donald Trump.

The verdict was by a majority of five of the nine judges narrowly. The conservative Chairman of the Supreme court, John Roberts, concurred in the judgment, together with the four liberal judges.

Obama had in 2012 with the so-called Daca-decree protected 700.000 “Dreamer” (dreamer) before the deportation. Many of them were brought as children by their parents without documents into the country, often from Latin American countries. Trump had finished the program in September 2017, the stop to the deportations, however, for the time being retained.

The judge referred to the way the program was stopped, is now to be unlawful and Trump to be added to a crushing defeat. The President has made the fight against illegal immigration and restrictions on legal immigration to the hard points of his presidency.
