While The Walking Dead brand minimum of hearing, Robert Kirkman puts in place a gigantic project. The author of the comics and executive producer of the drama zombie AMC is developing a 5-Year, an ambitious series preapocalíptica, which, as its English name indicates, tells the five years prior to the collision of a meteorite against the Earth. The company Kirkman, Skybound Entertainment, has reached an agreement with Entertainment One to develop this series over five seasons, one for each year. But not only that: according to Deadline, the idea is to create a local version of the fiction in all the markets concerned, recorded in your language and with characters and narratives set in each region; using a timeline to global and common. For the moment, production agreements, which include South Korea, China, Latin america, Germany, Uk, Italy, India, and Russia. Entertainment One will handle the financing and distribution.

After almost a decade of working with AMC, home of The Walking Dead since 2010, Kirkman moved to Amazon in August of 2017. This collaboration will blossom soon in the series Invincible.
