Chernobylite: Complete Edition, a popular game developed by Ironwood Studios’ Pacific Drive, has recently announced its release date for the Nintendo Switch along with an exciting new trailer. The game has been receiving recognition, including a nomination from The Game Awards this year.
The latest Winter update, titled “Trips and Treasures,” is now available for fans to enjoy. This update brings a host of new gameplay features and cosmetic options for players to explore. One of the highlights of this update is the introduction of a new cosmetic add-on called the “Frosted Pack,” which can be purchased for $4.99.
Players can look forward to discovering 23 new cosmetic items during their trips into the Zone, some of which come from brand new sources. These items can be displayed in 30 different locations in the garage, with more locations planned for future updates.
Another exciting addition to Pacific Drive is the introduction of Goldshells, mysterious containers that players can find during their trips. Breaking open these containers will reward players with additional car cosmetics and new garage items to collect.
In addition to new content, the game has received an upgrade to Unreal Engine 4, which has resulted in significant performance and stability improvements. This will provide players with a smoother and more enjoyable gaming experience.
The Frosted Pack includes a variety of new cosmetic items, such as the Snowflake Antenna Topper, Frozen Steering Wheel, Snowman Bobblehead, Chrome Toboggan Hood Ornament, Snowdrop Mirror Ornament, and Blizzard Decal Kit. Players can also enjoy two new free cosmetics – a Hot Cocoa Sticker and The Ski Pole Shifter.
While Pacific Drive is currently available on PC via Steam and PlayStation 5, the upcoming release on the Nintendo Switch is highly anticipated by fans. With the new Winter update and exciting cosmetic options, players can look forward to diving back into the world of Chernobylite and exploring all that the game has to offer on the Nintendo Switch platform.
