Munich (dpa / lby) – The warning strikes in the public sector will ensure, among other things, full garbage cans and dirty streets in individual Bavarian cities in the coming days. Baths, city administrations and public utilities will also be affected, as union representatives in the Bavarian regions said on Wednesday. Verdi Bayern did not give a complete overview of the actions – according to the union, the individual actions are decided in the regions.

In Munich, the waste management companies will be affected on Thursday and Friday. The union said that the residual waste bins, paper and bio bins would probably not be emptied. Bulky and hazardous waste cannot be handed in at the recycling depots. The action at the recycling depots may also continue on Saturday.

The warning strikes are also directed against waste management in Augsburg, but only on Thursday. In Regensburg, Verdi wants to hit the public utilities, the energy and water supply and also the baths with warning strikes on Friday.

In some regions, however, according to union representatives, nothing is planned for the current week, partly because there were already actions in the first days of the week. This applies in Würzburg, Aschaffenburg, Lower Bavaria, in the Bayreuth area, in Ingolstadt, in the Rosenheim area and in the Allgäu.
