Viernheim (dpa/lhe) – In Viernheim, southern Hesse, there was a major police operation because of a dispute between two men in an apartment building. In the conflict, a 42-year-old is said to have threatened his 46-year-old opponent with a weapon, as the investigators announced on Tuesday in Darmstadt. The police seized a firearm from the man. Nobody was injured during the operation. At no time was there any danger to other residents of the house. Several roads were also closed due to the operation. According to the investigators, the background to the dispute is still unclear.
