Stadelhofen/Scheßlitz (dpa/lby) – Another theft of solar modules: operators of a solar park between Stadelhofen and Scheßlitz (Bamberg district) noticed on Monday that more than 200 solar modules worth around 30,000 euros were missing, as the police announced on Tuesday. According to initial findings, the thieves broke into the energy park south of the A70 between Monday last week and Monday this week.
In the past few weeks, unknown persons have already stolen almost 200 solar modules and various objects from solar parks in Guteneck (Schwandorf district) in the Upper Palatinate and in Püchersreuth and Tännesberg in the Neustadt an der Waldnaab district. The total damage to the three systems is at least 180,000 euros. It was initially unclear whether there was a connection between the crimes.
