Strasburg (dpa / mv) – After the fire in a 30-meter-long warehouse in Strasburg (Western Pomerania-Greifswald), the police are looking for who caused the fire. As a police spokeswoman said on Tuesday, an expert examined the ruins and found two independent outbreak sites for the flames. This is being investigated on suspicion of intentional arson.

The approximately 300 square meter warehouse on the outskirts burned down early Monday morning. The damage was estimated at around 50,000 euros, nobody was injured. A connection with other fires in the region is being examined.

In April 2022, the listed cultural center in Strasburg was also set on fire and burned down. In this case, too, the arsonists are still being sought. The damage in the case was estimated at 3.5 million euros.
