While his daughter was late to go to school, Aymeric Caron allegedly forced his way into the kindergarten where the child attends this Friday morning, in Versailles (Yvelines), according to Europe 1. Despite the doors closed, the deputy for the 18th district of Paris would have passed through the gate to drop off his daughter.
Without taking into account the director’s requests to stop, the elected representative of La France insoumise would have brought his daughter directly to her class. However, school regulations prohibit doing this. This would be the third time since the start of the year that Aymeric Caron has behaved in this way, according to the school.
This Friday morning, the director contacted the police who went to the scene, but Aymeric Caron had already left the scene. The police officers did not notice any damage.
Contacted by Le Parisien, Aymeric Caron denounces “political exploitation”. He denies having forced the doors of the establishment. He said the school closes at 8:40 a.m., but “there are two gates.” The first would close at 8:30 a.m. while “the children must wait in front of the second, while a supervisor takes them to their class.” While it was “raining heavily,” he didn’t want his daughter to “wait in the rain.” The elected official assures that this is only the first time that this situation has occurred.
