Frankfurt/Main (dpa/lhe) – In the trial of a deadly knife attack on the hard shoulder of a motorway, the public prosecutor’s office and the defense are to give their closing speeches on Monday (9.30 a.m.) in front of the Frankfurt Regional Court. The victim’s 41-year-old husband is charged with murder. The Serb is said to have followed the woman in March 2022, hit her car three times and then killed her with seven stab wounds on the hard shoulder of the Autobahn 661 near Frankfurt-Preungesheim.

The closing speeches were originally scheduled for last Monday, but had to be postponed because a judge was ill. The verdict should now be in early March.
