Frankfurt/Main (dpa/lhe) – Eintracht Frankfurt is expanding its portfolio and will also offer golf as a club sport in the future. The offer includes training offers, tournaments and from the 2024 season also team registrations in the league operations of the Hessian Golf Association (HGV), as the club announced on Friday. From now on, beginners as well as advanced golfers at all skill levels can practice the sport at Eintracht.
“Golf has established itself more and more as a mass and health sport in recent years and is considered less as an elitist sport and more as a sport for everyone,” said Dieter Burkert, who is responsible for mass sport at Eintracht Frankfurt. There are already more than 50 sports under the Eintracht umbrella. The home club for golf becomes the cooperation partner of the Golfpark Gut Hühnerhof, which offers a 27-hole course in Gründau-Lieblos.
