Strasburg (dpa / mv) – Attentive drivers made it possible to rescue a seriously injured accident driver at night on the Autobahn 20 near Strasburg (West Pomerania-Greifswald). As a police spokeswoman said on Thursday, the 42-year-old had overturned his car in the dark. The other drivers noticed the car being thrown against a guardrail and called rescuers and the police early in the morning. They were able to get the seriously injured, who was trapped in the car, out of the vehicle and take him to a clinic. According to initial investigations, the 42-year-old is said to have fallen asleep, which led to the accident in the north direction. The car was totaled.
