Plau (dpa / mv) – On the federal highway 103 in Plau am See (Ludwigslust-Parchim), a car hit a pedestrian on Friday morning and seriously injured him. As a police spokesman said, the accident happened in the dark and rain at an intersection in the north-east of the small town. The exact cause of the accident was initially unclear. The injured man was taken to a hospital. There were no major traffic disruptions. The intersection is actually controlled by traffic lights.
