Hofheim-Diedenbergen (dpa/lhe) – The ATM of a bank branch has been blown up in the Main-Taunus district. Nobody was injured by the explosion on Tuesday morning in Hofheim am Taunus, the police said. After a loud bang, witnesses saw a getaway car drive away from the scene. Officials assume that the same car is related to a car accident on Tuesday morning on the A643 in Rhineland-Palatinate. It was not yet clear whether money was stolen during the blast. The perpetrators are currently on the run.
