Frankfurt/Main (dpa/lhe) – A defective cable caused a power failure in around 3,300 households in the Hochtaunus district. As the network operator Syna GmbH announced, parts of Wehrheim and Usingen were affected from late Monday morning. After about two and a half hours, the power supply was restored for most of the households. Because of the necessary network switching, there was also a four-minute power failure in parts of Bad Homburg, Oberursel and Friedrichsdorf around noon.
