Landshut (dpa / lby) – A 62-year-old driver ran over a pedestrian in Lower Bavaria on New Year’s morning who was traveling in the middle of a federal highway. As the Landshut Police Inspectorate announced on Monday, the 28-year-old suffered serious injuries and had to be revived. The man, dressed completely in black, ran on the B299 before sunrise at just after six o’clock. The driver was heading towards Landshut and apparently did not see the pedestrian on the road. The car was badly damaged in the accident, and the police believe it was a total loss in the five-digit range.
