Neuenbürg (dpa / lsw) – A 17-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a head-on collision with a car in the Enzkreis district. Despite the solid line and probably at too high a speed, the driver of the SUV overtook another vehicle, the police said on Monday. The 38-year-old overlooked the young motorcyclist who was coming towards him on federal highway 294 in Neuenbürg. He was so badly injured in the accident on Sunday evening that he died at the scene of the accident. The road was completely closed for about three hours. The person who caused the accident had to give up his driver’s license.
