Aue-Bad Schlema/Chemnitz (dpa/sn) – The police in Bad Schlema and Johanngeorgenstadt in the Ore Mountains have secured pyrotechnics several times. As the police in Chemnitz announced on Wednesday, the people did not have the permission required for this type of fireworks.

The police found such fireworks on Tuesday afternoon with a 38-year-old in Bad Schlema. A caller had previously informed the officials about several firecracker explosions. It was said that he was being investigated for violating the Explosives Act.

When checking two vehicles, the officials in Johanngeorgenstadt also found fireworks that required a permit. Among other things, there were large fireworks. The two 18 and 23-year-old men could not show any permission or approval for this. Reports have been filed against them.
