Magdeburg (dpa/sa) – Interest in the demonstrations on Mondays in Saxony-Anhalt continues to ebb. According to the Ministry of the Interior, around 190 people took to the streets on Boxing Day to protest high inflation, the Ukraine war and the federal government’s energy policy. A ministry spokeswoman said on Tuesday that there had been a total of ten meetings across the country. At no meeting was the number of participants higher than the middle double-digit range. This means that the number of participants in the rallies has fallen sharply. According to the ministry, the demonstrations remained without major disturbances.
