Kassel (dpa / lhe) – The driver was killed in a collision between a car and a bus. The 84-year-old died at the accident site in the town of Hofgeismar in the Kassel district, the police said on Saturday. According to witnesses, the man lost control of his car in the Carlsdorf district on Saturday morning and collided with the bus in the oncoming lane. There were no passengers on the bus at the time of the accident. The 23-year-old bus driver was taken to a hospital for further treatment in shock. No information has yet been given on the exact cause of the accident.
