Baden-Württemberg: rear-end collision with four trucks on the A8: driver fatally injured

Ulm (dpa / lsw) – In a rear-end collision on the Autobahn 8 near Gruibingen (Göppingen district), four trucks collided with each other. A truck driver was fatally injured, a police spokesman said on Wednesday. According to the information, a driver was able to free himself from his truck. The police were initially unable to say what happened to the other two involved. Emergency services are on site and would get an idea of ????the situation, said the spokesman. The trucks had gotten into each other at the end of a traffic jam. The Autobahn was closed in the direction of Stuttgart.
