Magdeburg (dpa/sa) – Shortly after the start, the funds for Saxony-Anhalt’s solar storage support program were used up. “Due to the high demand, the budget available for the “Saxony-Anhalt saves” program has been exhausted,” said the investment bank’s website on Tuesday. “Unfortunately, an application is no longer possible at the moment. As soon as further budget funds are available, information will be provided.” The Greens parliamentary group had pointed out the stop. She called for the funding for 2023 to be multiplied to ten million euros.

The Ministry of Energy presented the funding just last Friday. For private households there is a subsidy of up to 7500 euros for the purchase and installation of storage for photovoltaic systems on roofs. By the end of 2023, 2.9 million euros would be available from the “Saxony-Anhalt Saves” program.
