Munich (dpa / lby) – According to Economics Minister Hubert Aiwanger (free voters), applications for Bavarian energy hardship aid should be possible from January. The corresponding application platform is to be opened in January, Aiwanger said on Tuesday after a cabinet meeting in Munich. Because you have to set up this platform yourself due to the lack of help from the federal government, you use a private service provider. This should also organize the processing of the cases together with the Chambers of Industry and Commerce (IHK). “And then a hardship panel will look at these cases.”
The state government has set up its own Bavarian hardship fund to mitigate the consequences of the energy crisis for the state. Small and medium-sized companies that are threatened with their existence, but also associations, care or social institutions should be able to apply for financial support. Specifically, companies should be able to take advantage of Bavarian aid that receives little or no federal aid and is in a situation that threatens their existence due to the energy crisis.
