Bergheim (dpa / lnw) – A cyclist was hit by a car on the street in Bergheim west of Cologne and was seriously injured. According to the police, the background to the accident on Thursday morning was initially unclear. The cyclist was taken to the hospital by rescue helicopter. An emergency doctor could not rule out that his injuries are life-threatening. The accident site was initially closed in both directions, the police are investigating the accident.
