North Rhine-Westphalia: Child caught by train at train station – seriously injured

Moers (dpa / lnw) – At Moers station, a child was hit by a train and seriously injured. The accident victim was taken to a clinic by helicopter on Wednesday afternoon, said a spokesman for the federal police in Kleve. The helicopter had previously landed on the station forecourt. There was initially no further information about the course of the accident. According to the first findings, the child suffered, among other things, skull injuries, said the spokesman.
