This Wednesday, the Council of Ministers approved the appointment of María José Rallo del Olmo as the new president of the State Meteorological Agency.
María José Rallo is a Civil Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and a graduate in Economics from UNED. In addition, she has a Master’s Degree in Public Policy Analysis and Management from the Carlos III University and has completed the IESE Leadership Program for Public Management.
She belongs to the State Corps of Civil Engineers, Canals and Ports, and has spent her entire professional career in the current Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, where she was Secretary General of Transport and Mobility.
Previously she held, among others, the positions of head of the Technical Cabinet of the Secretary General of Transportation, deputy director general of Studies and Projects of the General Directorate of Highways and advisory member of the Cabinet of the Secretary of State for Infrastructure and Planning.
