Leibertingen (dpa/lsw) – Around 100,000 euros were damaged in a fire on a former farm in the Sigmaringen district. According to initial findings, the fire started in a fuse box in an outbuilding, the police said on Saturday. The flames spread across the roof of the building and damaged a sauna, among other things.
According to a police spokesman, the owners of the renovated farm near Leibertingen were on vacation at the time of the fire. An acquaintance was assigned to feed the cats. She noticed the fire on Friday afternoon and called the fire department.
