Bad Wimpfen (dpa / lsw) – 14 people were slightly injured in a gas accident in a chemical factory in Bad Wimpfen (Heilbronn district). Three of them came to a hospital for examination, the police reported on Tuesday. A gaseous fluorine product escaped in a compressor room on the premises of the Solvay company, as reported by the media. According to the Solvay website, fluorine products are used, among other things, as a raw material for pharmaceuticals and pesticides or as insulating and cooling gases for transformers.
