Baden-Württemberg: 82-year-old falls with a bike in a pit

Malsch (dpa / lsw) – An 82-year-old man fell into a pit while cycling and suffered serious head injuries. Danger to life cannot be ruled out, the police said on Monday, citing an emergency doctor. The senior was taken to a hospital. According to initial findings, the man had fallen into the pit in Malsch (Karlsruhe district) for initially unknown reasons while an excavator was maneuvering there. Police officers started resuscitation.
