Gammertingen (dpa / lsw) – After the death of a person in a house fire in Gammertingen (Sigmaringen district), the police are investigating a 24-year-old man for arson. According to information from Monday, he is in custody on urgent grounds of suspicion. The 55-year-old victim is currently being autopsied. In addition, experts on the fire object are busy securing traces of the fire on Saturday night and determining the exact cause of the fire. The property damage to the residential building is now estimated at around 250,000 euros.
