Bietigheim-Bissingen (dpa/lsw) – After a two-year forced break due to the coronavirus pandemic, the organizers are planning the Bietigheim New Year’s Eve run again this time. Thousands of participants are expected on the 11.1-kilometer route on December 31 (2:00 p.m.). It would be the 40th edition of the competition. “We are in good spirits and firmly assume that the New Year’s Eve run can take place as usual,” said chief organizer Gerhard Müller in a statement.
