Greifswald (dpa / mv) – A 26-year-old is said to have stabbed and seriously injured a man at the train station in Greifswald. As a police spokeswoman said on Tuesday, the suspect was caught nearby shortly after the incident on Monday evening. Passers-by saw the incident and alerted the police.
The suspect is said to have stabbed the victim in the neck and then fled. The 26-year-old will be brought before a magistrate, it said. A suspected crime tool was also found near the train station. The 34-year-old victim is in critical condition, according to doctors. No information was initially given about a motive.
