Karlsruhe (dpa / lsw) – At the second division soccer team Karlsruher SC, the injury worries in the defense have increased again. As the club announced on Monday, Daniel Gordon tore a muscle fiber in his right thigh during the away game at SpVgg Greuther Fürth (1-1). The 37-year-old injured himself in the last action of the game, the KSC informed.
The Karlsruhers are running out of central defenders. Most recently, coach Christian Eichner was missing the injured Christoph Kobald, Daniel O’Shaughnessy, Felix Irorere, Lazar Mirkovic and the newly signed Florian Ballas on the defensive.
