Hausach (dpa / lsw) – In the head-on collision of two cars in the district of Ortenau, two people were seriously injured and four others were slightly injured. According to the current status of the investigation, a 28-year-old driver lost control of his car on Sunday morning between Haslach im Kinzigtal and Hausach and drove over a traffic island, the police said. His car went into the oncoming lane and collided with an oncoming car.
According to the police, the 28-year-old had an alcohol level of just over two per thousand. He was slightly injured in the accident. Two people in the oncoming car suffered serious injuries and three passengers suffered minor injuries. The federal highway 33 was initially completely blocked, the traffic was diverted.
