Stuttgart (dpa/lsw) – On November 21, the Baden-Württemberg Constitutional Court will deal with several procedures relating to gambling law. This was announced by the court in Stuttgart on Thursday. There are two procedures for sports betting. According to the announcement, the intermediaries are located in buildings in which arcades of other operators are also located.
The plaintiffs are taking action against the ban on brokerage of sports betting by the responsible regional council, which has been provisionally approved by the administrative courts. According to this, sports betting may not be offered in a building or building complex in which a gaming hall or casino is located.
Two other procedures concern arcades. Among other things, this is about the temporary closure and the question of how old cases will be treated in a transitional period.
