Kenzingen (dpa / lsw) – A construction worker was killed in Kenzingen (Emmendingen district) by a prefabricated house element. As the fire department told the German Press Agency (dpa), the man was already dead on Monday morning when the rescue workers reached the scene of the accident. “The rescue took almost two hours,” said the responsible fire department commander. The approximately 1.8 ton and 15 meter long component was lifted by a crane to rescue the man. The fire brigade could not provide any information on the course of the accident.
