Albstadt (dpa/lsw) – Thanks to good demand and an acquisition, the needle manufacturer Groz-Beckert closed the past year with an increase in sales of ten percent. According to preliminary figures, a plus of 814 million euros was generated in 2022, the textile supplier based in Albstadt (Zollernalbkreis) announced on Friday. This corresponds to an increase of 72 million euros compared to the previous year (742 million euros).
According to the announcement, the group took over the German industrial knife manufacturer TKM at the beginning of October. The sales share of the acquisition corresponds to around 36 million euros. At the end of the year, the company had more than 9,500 employees worldwide.
