Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) – After his sensational performance last June, the Australian tennis pro Nick Kyrgios wants to compete in the lawn tennis tournament in Stuttgart next year. Like the Italian defending champion Matteo Berrettini, the world number 22. the organizers announced on Wednesday that they had accepted the event from June 12 to 18, 2023. Kyrgios failed in the semi-finals this year against Briton Andy Murray, smashing his racket, taking a point deduction, messing with the crowd and playing listlessly to the end. Kyrgios then criticized racist statements from the audience.
