Ellwangen (dpa / lsw) – In a dispute in the state initial reception for refugees in Ellwangen, around 100 people clashed. Some of them were armed with iron bars and broken glass bottles, a police spokesman said on Thursday. The security service of the facility in Ostalbkreis was able to separate the two parties. The police moved out with more than ten patrol cars.
According to initial police findings, there were no injuries in the late-evening incident. It was initially unclear what caused the dispute. Four people involved in the dispute were taken into custody overnight.
Shortly before, around 30 people in the LEA Ellwangen had clashed. When the police arrived, the argument had already been resolved. The trigger is said to have been an assault. A man was slightly injured.
