Baindt (dpa / lsw) – A man crashed his car into a tree in Baindt (Ravensburg district) and suffered life-threatening injuries. He had to be resuscitated at the scene of the accident before he could be taken to a hospital, the police said on Wednesday. The 79-year-old came off the road in a curve. As a result of the collision with the tree, he was trapped in his car on Tuesday and had to be freed from his car by the fire brigade using technical equipment.
It is not yet known why the man left the road. A medical emergency cannot be ruled out as a reason, the police said.
