Boll (dpa / lsw) – A drunk driver came into oncoming traffic on the federal highway 313 near Boll (Sigmaringen district) and caused an accident with ten people injured. The cause of the accident was severe in the collision, nine other participants were slightly injured, including their eleven-year-old passenger, the police said on Sunday.
A police spokesman said that the 36-year-old had been found to have alcohol under one per thousand. The alcohol in connection with an alleged overtiredness probably led to the fact that she came into the oncoming lane. There, according to the police, the woman collided with an oncoming car belonging to a 36-year-old driver, who was occupied by two adults and a four-year-old child. She then collided with another car owned by a 52-year-old driver, in which two adults and three children aged 16, 14 and 13 were sitting. The driver’s license of the 36-year-old was confiscated. Police estimate the damage at around $30,000.
