Hüttlingen (dpa / lsw) – Damage of around 200,000 euros was caused by a fire in a half-timbered house in Hüttlingen (Ostalbkreis). The resident was able to get out of the house before the rescue workers arrived, the police said on Wednesday. Eight cows that were in the stables of the house could also be rescued. The fire broke out on Wednesday night from an initially unclear cause in an attic filled with hay. The flames completely destroyed the house. A large contingent of firefighters were deployed.
