Freiburg (dpa / lsw) – Full-back Jobina Lahr is leaving the women’s soccer team at SC Freiburg during the winter break. The Bundesliga club cited professional reasons as the reason. “After more than ten years in Freiburg, I have decided to break new ground,” said the 31-year-old in a club statement on Friday. Lahr has played a total of 100 games for Freiburg in the Bundesliga, the second division and in the DFB Cup since 2012. However, she also had to deal with several serious injuries.
