Bad Mergentheim (dpa / lsw) – The head of a Catholic boarding school in Bad Mergentheim (Main-Tauber district) was warned after participating in an AfD event. He will also take a personal break in a church facility, as the Rottenburg-Stuttgart diocese announced on Friday.
As the diocese reported with reference to a recording of the event on YouTube, the head of the boarding school had a book signed on November 18 after an AfD party event in the Main-Tauber district – by the AfD parliamentary group leader in Thuringia Björn Höcke, who was there from the protection of the constitution because of of its right-wing extremist tendencies. It is said to have been Höcke’s book “Never in the Same River Twice”. After that, the head of the boarding school, Höcke, said: “Keep it up!” shouted.
In a personal statement, the head of the boarding school is said to have admitted his behavior as a mistake. That he represents right-wing extremist positions is not the case.
