Göppingen (dpa / lsw) – Handball professional Josip Sarac stays with Bundesliga team Frisch Auf Göppingen. The 25-year-old national player of Croatia extended his contract by two more years, as the Swabians announced after the 25:27 defeat against the Rhein-Neckar Löwen on Saturday evening. “Josip Sarac is a complete player who impresses with very good performances in front and behind,” said coach Markus Baur about the backcourt player, who came to Göppingen in 2021.
In addition, the Swabian youth national goalkeeper Julian Buchele equipped with a contract on Sunday. As a result, the 18-year-old will benefit from the follow-up promotion from Göppingen from the coming season.
