Salem/ Langenburg (dpa/lsw) – Guests from the south-west will also be arriving for the Queen’s funeral service next Monday (September 19). Valerie Margravine of Baden and the hereditary prince couple Bernhard Prince of Baden and Stephanie Princess of Baden have been invited from the House of Baden, the house announced. “It means a lot to my family and me to pay our last respects to our aunt and great-aunt,” said Prince Bernhard. He is the great-nephew of the Queen’s husband, Prince Philip, and attended his funeral in April 2021.
Prince Philipp zu Hohenlohe-Langenburg and his wife Princess Saskia will also come to the Queen’s funeral, as announced by the management of Langenburg Castle. King Charles is Prince Philip’s great-uncle. There will be a memorial service at Westminster Abbey on Monday. The Queen will then be buried in a chapel at Windsor Castle.
