Heidelberg (dpa / lsw) – There is still a lot of movement in the squad of the MLP Academics Heidelberg. On Monday, the basketball Bundesliga club announced the commitment of the American De’jon Davis. The 23-year-old “Big Man” played for Greek club Apollon Patras last season. “De’jon brings energy and physicality to our team. He can fill both major positions and is an excellent rebounder,” said Heidelberg’s new coach Joonas Iisalo, according to the club’s announcement.
Point guard Robert Lowery, on the other hand, has left Heidelberg. The 34-year-old averaged 13.2 points per game last season.
